DESERT HOME
This desert in my life that's been my long time home is fading like the
setting sun,
As desolation dies my death dissolves,
The sun's setting, it sends abstract colors, like the emotions of
things gone and done,
Sand-Dunes a billion grains of sand remind me of my memories
As a handful sifts through my fingertips sort of like the years in my
life filter on by, in this desert I've called home,
While breezes of hope's cool air blow in this hot place, these were
always my faith in a better day to come,
Wisps of soothing freshness, air, a clean breath of life comes and I
inhale the all-encompassing newness I have found as I depart from this
desert now.

Pain's Reign
IN HOLLOW TOMBS
TRUTH IS NOT DEFINED
AND LIES ARE NOT DEFIED
YOU WILL SEARCH INTO MY EYES
BUT NEVER FIND A SOUL
FOR ALL THAT IS LEFT
IS A DEEP SMOLDERING HOLE
A COOL, BLACK COAL
IT SITS UPON THE HEARTH OF HEART
READY TO SET ABLAZE
THE FEEL FIERY RAGE
YET IN A MAZE, HELL CANNOT RAISE,
STRONG WALLS OF PAIN CONTAIN THE PAIN
AS CREEPING HATE
MAKES PAIN MORE WALLS
MORE MAZE, MORE LOSS,
TIME LOST AT SOME COST
BUT THIS MUST BE GAIN
AM I RIGHT OR AM I WRONG
STILL I WALK IN THE MAZE,
SLOW I WALK AND SING
AN UNENDING SOMBER SONG
I WALK THRU CRIMSON RAIN
AND LAUGH AT IT'S BLOOD RED STAIN

The rain
---- washes done
The sun
---sits behind a cloud
and tears fall...
sadly...
gladly,
And I'm real
And live...
And flow...
And the rain washes down,
My feet touch the ground
There's a sound - -
... in my heart...
I love you.

Time Traveler
Searching souls surrender
To the inevitable,
~
A familiar meeting of kindred spirits,
It has been so long - - Don't let me
Be afraid to remember...
~
More than anything I want to
Maintain the courage to
Embrace this moment...

Ingestion of Inspiration leads to my
Introspective exposure.
