'BY HOOK - JUST LOOK!'
I learned to crochet when I was eight years old ( over 34 years ago). My
great-grandmother, "Bigmama", taught me how to use a hook and yarn to express my own
creativity. Out of my love for her, and the crocheted things she made, my own love of
this vintage art has grown over the years a lot.
Crochet Musings Homepage: I am happy to be a
member of the '[email protected]'(from Crochet Musings home page), where I have
formed several friendships, found lots of great patterns and participated in many
exchanges.
Angels of Comfort: I am proud to be an
'angel' volunteer, crocheting squares & assembling comfortghans for "The Angels of
Comfort" charity organization.

Tall Mouse: I also taught crochet classes at the Tall Mouse, a local
hobby store nearby my home.

The first thing I remember crocheting was an original design. I was about eight years old
and I made a small coin purse with a button flap. The past couple of years I have
crocheted a lot and even designed several crochet originals such as: bed jacket, Kara's
rainbow purse, and infant and toddler hats.
My appreciation and love of crochet as a Vintage art form has developed into much more
than I ever imagined it would!
"HEY, BIGMAMA, ARE YOU SMILING DOWN ON ME FROM HEAVEN?"
